Dog Rescue As A Civic Duty Author: Jackson Neshah
Dog rescue is a service to humanity because stray dogs can and do pose
health hazards to society through bites and infections. Dog rescue is
an important civic duty but unfortunately many dogs are languishing in
shelters all over the country rescued into hell. Like old people’s
homes violations are rife in dog shelters.
The need for individual dog lovers to rescue dogs and provide them
with comfortable homes gave rise to this article. To this end, lots of
dog trainers, dog schools and books are now available for dog owners
or would be dog rescuers to use for house training their pets. This
will make it possible for dogs to become responsible members of the
family. The dog has proved itself the most adept at learning, so all
it requires is proper training by a dog lover.
None of us should call himself or herself a dog lover without the
inclination of rescuing at least one dog from either the street or the
shelters, and train it to be a better dog. Untrained dogs are very
dangerous and become nuisance to the family and society at large.
Untrained dogs are known to have the habit of chewing up things in the
house especially shoes and furniture; putting their mouths in food
items and generally disrupting the normal family set up. Lack of dog
behaviour training has resulted into dogs aggressions, which have
caused both health problems and even deaths to family members ,
strangers and neighbours.
This is likely why many dog owners kill or send into the streets their
former pet dogs. Most of which can be found in shelters all over the
country. Now let me say that a dog is not responsible for its level of
intelligence, rather an owner is responsible for a dog’s behaviour
training. So let anyone who is interested in dogs give them the proper
training. Dog rescue is a remedy for an avoidable problem.
It is very obvious that a dog is capable of learning, so it behoves a
dog’s owner to ensure that their dogs get dog behaviour training in
order to get the best out of them so that the issue of dog rescue,
homeless and sheltered dogs will be minimised.
Exercise your human right, rescue a dog today.
